Mobility Management
The Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission’s (GCRPC) Enhanced Mobility program is a demand response transportation voucher program funded through the Texas Department of Transportation’s (TXDOT), Enhanced Mobility for Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities program.
Free Vouchers for Seniors and Disabled Transportation
The program offers various transportation options for those 65 and older, or individuals with disabilities. GCRPC has partnered with several local organizations to distribute free transportation vouchers to eligible individuals under this program. GCRPC recognizes the unique transportation needs of seniors and individuals with disabilities, so we developed a program designed to enhance mobility for those individuals.
Ride Scheduling for Eligible Recipients
Eligible recipients can utilize the Choose My Ride vouchers for Victoria Transit’s Fixed Route service. Service hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Enhanced Mobility Program
An Enhanced Mobility Choose My Ride Client Evaluation Application will be used to determine your eligibility for Demand Response transportation voucher program. The information is confidential and only shared with agencies involved with Victoria Transits eligibility.
To meet eligibility for the Choose My Ride Program you must meet the following requirements: you must be 65 years of age or older with a Valid Driver's License or I.D. or qualify with proof of disability.
Programa de Movilidad Mejorada
Se utilizará una Solicitud de Evaluación de Clientes de Movilidad Mejorada "Elige mi Viaje" para determinar su elegibilidad para el programa de vales de transporte de Respuesta a la Demanda. La información es confidencial y solo se comparte con las agencias involucradas en la elegibilidad de Victoria Transits.
Para cumplir con los requisitos de elegibilidad para el programa Choose My Ride, debe cumplir con los siguientes requisitos: debe tener 65 años de edad o más con una licencia de conducir o identificación válida o calificar con un comprobante de discapacidad.
