Regional Services

The Regional Services Department is responsible for a wide-range of activities designed to improve the quality of life at the community level.

Overview

The Public Safety division helps coordinate regional efforts that support everyday safety, emergency readiness, and long-term resilience across the Golden Crescent. Working alongside local jurisdictions, first responders, and partner agencies, the division supports planning, communication, and resource-sharing so communities are better prepared to prevent, respond to, and recover from incidents.

Our Core Functions

Through programs that include 911 coordination, criminal justice support, homeland security planning, and training assistance, the division helps agencies navigate requirements, access funding opportunities, and strengthen the systems they rely on to protect residents. This work connects local needs with regional strategies, ensuring that public safety resources are used effectively and collaboratively.
