The Regional Services Department is responsible for a wide-range of activities designed to improve the quality of life at the community level.

Economic Development
The Economic Development Program supports broad-based, efficient, and sustainable economic growth in the seven-county region. The program provides data and analysis to local economic development organizations, cities and counties to help target economic development efforts throughout the region. GCRPC is also designated by the Economic Development Administration as the Economic Development District for the region.

Program funding level is estimated at $31 million this year.
Award amounts: Maximum Planning Grant - $75,000; Maximum Working Capital Grant -$250,000.
